Creative Associate
Remote
Think Big Media seeks a motivated creative associate to create impactful digital visuals for our advocacy and public affairs clients. This role reports to the Associate Creative Director.
Key Responsibilities

Design digital assets (social media, display ads), web assets (header banners, icons)

Create social videos with a mix of text, graphics, photos, animations, and music

Build and maintain Canva brand kits and client-facing templates so stakeholders can execute on-brand content independently

Collaborate with team members and account managers to understand project needs and translate client briefs into visuals
-
An understanding of web design, being able to do basic edits across platforms such as wix
or squarespace. -
Use AI design tools (Adobe Firefly, Gemini, Midjourney, or similar) to accelerate
concepting and production — as a real workflow asset, not a shortcut -
Maintain industry-standard knowledge of file types and usages

Stay current with design trends and evolving software, including emerging AI tools

Be flexible and nimble on both graphic and motion work, making quick edits and producing timely deliverables

Work within brand guidelines across multiple clients simultaneously
Qualifications

You're a Swiss Army Knife creative who can move quickly across a variety of content types and platforms

Bachelor's in Graphic Design, Communication, Marketing or related field OR proven content creation experience with a strong portfolio (portfolio required)

1–2 years of related work in content creation

Demonstrated proficiency in graphic design, basic video editing, and/or motion graphics

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects

Canva fluency — including brand kit setup, template creation, and working within client-managed workspaces

Familiarity with AI tools in a design or production workflow; comfort experimenting with new tools as they emerge

Appreciation for standard processes and the human-centered systems that help us do our most effective and efficient work together.

Ability to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines and self-start on tasks

Able to thrive in a fast-paced, campaign-style environment

Knowledge of politics, policy, or advocacy communications is helpful, but not required
