Key Responsibilities

  • Design digital assets (social media, display ads), web assets (header banners, icons)

  • Create social videos with a mix of text, graphics, photos, animations, and music

  • Build and maintain Canva brand kits and client-facing templates so stakeholders can execute on-brand content independently

  • Collaborate with team members and account managers to understand project needs and translate client briefs into visuals

  • An understanding of web design, being able to do basic edits across platforms such as wix
    or squarespace.

  • Use AI design tools (Adobe Firefly, Gemini, Midjourney, or similar) to accelerate
concepting and production — as a real workflow asset, not a shortcut

  • Maintain industry-standard knowledge of file types and usages

  • Stay current with design trends and evolving software, including emerging AI tools

  • Be flexible and nimble on both graphic and motion work, making quick edits and producing timely deliverables

  • Work within brand guidelines across multiple clients simultaneously

Qualifications

  • You're a Swiss Army Knife creative who can move quickly across a variety of content types and platforms

  • Bachelor's in Graphic Design, Communication, Marketing or related field OR proven content creation experience with a strong portfolio (portfolio required)

  • 1–2 years of related work in content creation

  • Demonstrated proficiency in graphic design, basic video editing, and/or motion graphics

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects

  • Canva fluency — including brand kit setup, template creation, and working within client-managed workspaces

  • Familiarity with AI tools in a design or production workflow; comfort experimenting with new tools as they emerge

  • Appreciation for standard processes and the human-centered systems that help us do our most effective and efficient work together.

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines and self-start on tasks

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, campaign-style environment

  • Knowledge of politics, policy, or advocacy communications is helpful, but not required
