Position Overview

​​Think Big is looking for a highly motivated Video Editor & Producer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings sharp storytelling instincts, and can elevate and expand our in-house production capabilities. This role is ideal for a creative individual with a strong technical background and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate is capable of producing high-quality videos quickly and efficiently, with minimal supervision, while maintaining brand consistency. You will be responsible for all aspects of video editing and production, from storyboarding and creative concepting, to coordinating shoot logistics, assembling and organizing footage, and ultimately producing polished final products.

 

​Key Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling, high-impact videos from concept to delivery — including editing, color correction, sound design, and motion graphics/animation for a variety of platforms

  • Support pre-production: storyboarding, shot lists, call sheets, crew coordination, and logistics

  • Collaborate with our accounts and creative teams to shape compelling narratives and campaign visuals

  • Manage post-production workflows with efficiency and attention to detail

  • Optimize video content for different platforms, including websites, mobile devices, and social media channels

  • Maintain brand consistency across all video projects, ensuring a cohesive and professional look and feel

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging video editing techniques, and new technologies

  • Manage project timelines effectively, prioritize tasks, and ensure deadlines are consistently met

  • Work independently and take ownership of projects, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented approach

  • Utilize AI-enhanced tools to improve speed and quality of video production

 

What You Bring

  • A strong portfolio or reel that demonstrates storytelling, editing, and motion design skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects

  • Experience with audio editing, color correction, and motion graphics/animation

  • Knowledge of visual narrative, pacing, and digital-first design

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and organization skills

  • Openness to using AI-enhanced tools to improve speed and quality

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a variety of color grading software

  • Knowledge of video codecs, formats, and compression techniques

  • Bonus: Experience in live video, streaming, or on-site production; background in politics or advocacy; familiarity with agency workflows and client communications and servicing
