Creative Director
Tate Holcombe is the Creative Director at Think Big Media, where he leads creative strategy and execution across political, public affairs, and corporate campaigns. With more than a decade and a half of experience in the creative industry and over seven years shaping high-impact political media, Tate brings a rare blend of storytelling instinct, production expertise, and strategic leadership to every project.
A photographer and filmmaker by training, Tate began his career in video production, crafting brand films, documentaries, live broadcasts, and narrative content before moving into agency leadership. Today, he oversees a multidisciplinary team of designers, editors, animators, and web developers, guiding projects from concept through delivery while ensuring speed, clarity, and creative excellence under the tight timelines that define modern campaigns.
Tate’s creative leadership has produced award-winning work recognized by organizations such as the Reed Awards and the Pollies, as well as viral campaigns that cut through crowded media environments using humor, restraint, and bold visual thinking. He has led large-scale event productions, rapid-response rebrands, and innovative digital campaigns designed to perform across broadcast, CTV, and social platforms.
A Georgia native and graduate of Samford University, Tate lives in the Southeast with his family. Outside of work, he’s a community-minded leader, an advocate for banning pineapple on pizza, and most importantly, a father and husband.
