Our in-house creative capabilities make us different.

During an end-of-session state legislative fight last year, we got a call from a lobbyist friend over a three-day holiday weekend. His client was in a jam. They had a compelling argument against a bill put forward by a powerful, entrenched interest, but were late to the advocacy game in almost every way.

Back against the wall, they wanted to go up with targeted ads that showcased the real people and voices that would be hurt by the legislation. The biggest problem? Time. And, well, a hodgepodge of messaging, no existing creative assets, and a client team with little in-market experience.

We put a plan and narrative together, built trust quickly, and had 4 days to execute. 2 full-day shoots in 3 different locations with 6 interview subjects. Then around the clock post-production over the weekend to turn out 1 hero video, 3 video ads and 4 accompanying static digital ad sets. The ads were all approved and running on Monday morning.

Client: shocked/thrilled. Our team: proud/thrilled (and admittedly a little tired).

This was an extreme situation, but it illustrates what is possible when a client partners with a public affairs firm that brings a seasoned, in-house creative team to the table. Unrivaled speed, clarity of message and creative intended not just to make an argument, but to move people.

That’s why we’ve continued to invest heavily in our in-house creative capabilities at Think Big.

Today, we operate with one of the largest and most diverse in-house creative teams of any firm our size, fully integrated with our public affairs strategists, digital and data experts, and our in-house media buying team. This structure is intentional, and it’s designed to deliver stronger outcomes for our clients…sometimes even against “impossible” deadlines.

This means:

Speed without shortcuts.

We move quickly in response to political moments, policy shifts, and fast-moving news cycles, without the delays that come from outsourcing or layered handoffs. Close collaboration within one team eliminates lost context, keeps messaging sharp, and ensures creative execution stays aligned with strategy at every stage.

More cohesive, performance-driven campaigns.

Creative doesn’t live in a vacuum. Our in-house design team works alongside our senior strategists, media buyers and data gurus from day one, ensuring assets are built to perform and scale across the audiences that matter for your campaign the most.

A true extension of your internal team.

Rather than coordinating across multiple vendors and timelines, clients work with a single, integrated team that understands the objective, the audience, and the moment. The result is better work delivered faster, with fewer friction points and greater impact.

If you’re curious to see how this approach shows up in real campaigns, check out some recent work here: https://www.wethinkbig.io/portfolio.

And if you think your advocacy operation could benefit from this kind of partnership, just drop us a line.
