Meet the Practice We Launched for the Fight That Decides Whether America Builds

America is in its biggest infrastructure buildout since the interstate highway system, and the projects at the center of it are stalling. Gallup puts opposition to a local AI data center at seven in ten Americans. The industry's investment is real: billions in training for tradesmen, apprenticeships, and community funds. What hasn't kept pace is local trust, and trust is carried by the voices communities already believe. Where the local pipeline of workers and training is real, the story tells itself; where it isn't yet, building trust is the first assignment.

This week, we launched our Labor & National Infrastructure, which is led by former U.S. Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez-DeReme. She is the daughter of a Teamster, spent her tenure as Secretary in union halls across all 50 states, and is trusted across labor, business, and both parties. There is no better-positioned voice in the country for this fight and to help build that critical trust that seems to have evaporated.
