Phillip Petersen is a Director of Public Affairs at Think Big who has a decade of experience working in high-stakes policy and politics across multiple states and in Washington, D.C. His expertise spans from policy analysis and issue advocacy to candidate and independent expenditure campaigns, with a particular acumen for grassroots and stakeholder engagement.

A resident of Phoenix and a sixth-generation Arizonan, Phillip has an in-depth understanding of the Grand Canyon State’s political and issue environment. He has appeared on ABC 15 as a commentator and has co-written op-eds discussing Arizona politics and policy. 

Phillip is a graduate of Arizona State University and is pursuing a Master’s degree in International Affairs. An avid traveler, Phillip has been to all seven continents and enjoys spending time trying to understand other cultures and creeds. When he’s not working or traveling, Phillip loves reading about history, hiking, and volunteering with NGOs.
