Julia Connolly is a seasoned public affairs and strategic communications professional who has a track record of securing high-impact media coverage and translating policy and business challenges into clear, effective communications strategies for clients across sectors.

Prior to joining Think Big, Julia built her career at two Los Angeles-based public affairs agencies, leading media relations and issues management on high-profile regulatory and legislative issues across California. Her work has spanned crisis and rapid response communications, coalition-building on statewide policy priorities, political campaigns, and public information efforts supporting municipal initiatives.

Earlier in her career, Julia was a campaign professional with deep experience in grassroots organizing and field operations, directing large-scale volunteer programs and community outreach efforts that helped drive political and policy outcomes across the state.

Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach, and is an alumna of the CORO California Women in Leadership Program, a cross-sector leadership development program for women in California.
