In the complex world of healthcare, it’s easy for patient voices to get lost. Dialysis Patient Citizens (DPC) wanted to change that. They needed to put a human face on the challenges faced by dialysis patients and advocate for policies that protect their access to quality care. Think Big helped them tell their stories.

The Challenge
Lawmakers and the public often struggle to connect with the struggles of large healthcare companies. DPC needed to shift the narrative and make the patient experience the focal point of their advocacy efforts.

The Approach
We worked with DPC to identify and interview “Super Story” kidney patients, capturing their authentic and emotional experiences on video. These powerful patient stories became the heart of a multi-million dollar persuasion campaign, humanizing the issue and reminding everyone that healthcare is about people, not just profits.
The Results
The campaign resonated deeply with policymakers and the public, generating millions of views and sparking meaningful conversations about the challenges faced by dialysis patients. We helped DPC amplify the voices of those they serve, advocating for a healthcare system that puts patients first.
