How you’ll make an impact

  • Create and manage both short and long-term creative project calendars and deadlines for the entire creative department

  • Lead creative process for campaigns and projects including concepting, production, and post-production-ensuring work is executed on-spec, on-time, and on-budget

  • Review and provide feedback on work produced by the creative team to ensure quality, accuracy, and brand consistency across the organization

  • Takes accountability of final product for all internal creative groups and external agencies and freelancers, ensuring delivery of integrated communications that meet business and creative objectives

  • Assist with hiring and training creative staff as the creative department grows

  • Creative Director will act as direct supervisor and manager of all creative department team members – ensuring their professional development, personal growth, reaching set benchmarks, and adhering to company policies and procedures

  • Coordinate with outside vendors and/or contractors where applicable

  • Candidate may be required to work additional hours and some weekends during in season years

 

Why we’ll love you

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, production, or another related field preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading and nurturing a multi-functional creative team and delivering projects from start to finish

  • Must have previous experience in a graphic design or production role with an extensive understanding of all creative disciplines, including conceptual and executional (art direction, print, digital, user experience, copy, and motion)

  • experience in a traditional or in-house agency; leading graphics, visual execution, and production

  • Expert-level knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines at once

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills

  • High level of motivation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, campaign-style environment
