Aaron T. Walker
Managing Director, PR & Crisis Communications
Aaron Walker is a seasoned and tested communications strategist specializing in crisis communications, public and media relations. In his nearly 25 year career, he has served as a senior counselor to industry leaders across the United States.

In his current role with Think Big, Aaron is the Managing Director of the newly created Public Relations and Crisis Communications practice. In addition to building this new offering, Aaron is tasked with providing counsel across the agency’s vast roster.
Prior to Think Big, Aaron was an Executive Vice President at WE Worldwide, serving as a senior crisis communications and public affairs expert for the agency’s largest clients. In this dual role, he guided media strategies for Microsoft’s most difficult issues, and led the international public affairs efforts for consumer brands.

Before his tenure at WE, Aaron was the Chief Communications Officer of Rock Ventures and the Rock Family of Companies where he oversaw the strategic communications of more than 100 companies, including Rocket Companies (NYSE: RKT), and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Prior to Rock Ventures, Aaron worked in a number of leading public relations firms in Washington, DC. In addition to Aaron’s corporate roles, he also served in the federal government at the Department of Homeland Security.

During the administration of President George W. Bush, Aaron was the press secretary and national spokesman for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) where his mandate was to assist in rehabilitating the image of FEMA post Hurricane Katrina.

Aaron resides in Vienna, Virginia with his wife Beth, and their Brady-bunch family. He has three children and two bonus kids… three of which are 13 years old.
